Connecting TV Receiver with wireless router with wire not working

Hello all,

I recently subscribed to TV from Tele2. I connected the TV receiver with the Tele2 modem with wire and the TV works fine. However, I wanted to move my TV to a different room, so I configured a wireless router in the room. The wireless router works fine, if i connect my mobile(wireless) or laptop(with wire) however if i connect the tv receiver to the router it doesn’t work. I only see the message ‘Bezig met opstarten’ but nothing happens.

It would be great if anyone can please help!

That will not give you a TV connection. That must always be direct between the modem and the decoder. Like here.

    That is not possible. You can try with powerplugs.

    Thanks for your response Eric. Did you mean any powerplug from the market or something specific to tele2? The link in the email takes me to Ikea.. :P
