Red light on power and dsl 1 while installing internet

Hi, 

I have a type 2 connection. 

I tried installing modem as per the instructions. However, the Power and DSL 1 lights on my modem are red instead of green. Not sure how to solve the problem.

Hi sachin647,

Hopefully the problem is solved by now, if not try to reset the modem by pressing the reset button on the back of the modem with a paperclip or toothpick for 5 seconds. Then reboot the modem by unplugging the power for 10 seconds.

The modem will need 10 to 30 minutes before it works the first time you connect it.
