new modem not working

After having 4 years of contract with tele2, I have received a new modem, due to problems with my old modem.

Now, it is for more than a week that I have receoved it, but not working! The internet lamp is always red and after 3 times calling the service department, still not connected!

I need an immediate connection plus recovery for the time I did not have internet!
